Our team from the Center of Adaptation of foreign students of the St. Petersburg State University of Industrial Technologies and Design took 2nd place at the XIII Festival of National Cultures «Meridians of Friendship»!

Ekaterina Kudryavtseva, graduate student, won 1st place for the development of antibacterial textile materials. Elizabeth Korobova, master’s student, won 3d (3rd) place for the creation of technology to reduce water consumption when coloring fabrics and giving them self-cleaning properties.

We should not forget about measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection, influenza and colds.

The northern capital has once again become a point of attraction for talented designers from all of Russia, and also from Kyrgisia and Belarus.

In 2022 526 applications for the contest were submitted. 66 fashion collections, 7 multimedia spots and 14 digital avatar spots made it to the finals.

Creative youth from all over Russia have once again gathered at the Engineering School of Clothes (college) of SUITD to show their talents and professional skills at the Russian competition of young fashion designers «Breath of Spring». Today the University College podium hosted a Gala-demonstration of the best collections of the year and the awarding ceremony of the winners. There were 60 participants from Yaroslavl, Murmansk, Vologda, Sevastopol and Saint-Petersburg.
